There\'s this technique called \'\'muscle confusion\'\' that says working your body out in different ways...like maybe jogging one day and doing the steps another day...is supposed to make the muscles react more and you\'ll get better results. Also, any kind of weight training/core fitness-with the exercise ball...reps...doing those workouts every other day...they\'re pretty awesome. You should try P90X and any workout with an exercise ball or resistance bands. Those are pretty amazing. more Yahoo! Answers http://www.livehealthyvillage.com/health |

Because of some old injuries to my leg, I can no longer jog, run or sprint, and steps I have to take one at time. from Yahoo! Answers http://www.livehealthyvillage.com/health |

Sprinting, staircase steps, lunges (runners do them--I don\'t know how) do the short muscles. Footy helps, as it\'s a long series of sprinting. Same with basketball. Short muscle build-up will thicken the legs and make one look muscular. Long muscles, which most women prefer, include jogging, treadmill, walking, swimming, cycling. Long-muscle training makes legs look shapely but not bulked up. Powered By Yahoo! Answers http://www.livehealthyvillage.com/health |
